Have you ever met someone and immediately you were overcome with curiosity? Incapacitated with inquisitiveness? A genuine fascination to learn more about them?
Like you’ve met before. That your connection existed prior to your first encounter.
The genesis of my relationship with Andi began that way.
I was a young paperboy entering his second decade in life with no desire to cultivate companionship. However, that was absolutely out of my control.
Without consciously understanding it I found her idiosyncrasies captivating. The simplest things. Like the way she walked, the way she said certain words, and how, with very little effort and no matter what clouds were in her forecast, her lips were always sunny.
I was to learn later that this was not the cliché of love at first sight. Frankly, because there is no such thing. No, this was a tell-tale sign of a past-life reminiscence.
It was ‘love a first memory’.
